There are several opportunities to volunteer at Highlands from wherever you are including in-person at a physical location, Highlands Online & more!
Each week at Highlands, hundreds of people just like you give their time to serve. Whether it’s helping children learn about Jesus on their level at HFKidz, greeting first-time guests, or working behind the scenes, every volunteer is making a difference at Highlands! We know you’re busy, and a hundred things are competing for your time. But we also know you’ll grow in your relationship with Jesus and meet new friends when you start volunteering with a Host Team!

Host Teams
Host Team Members strive to make guests feel welcome and at home, similar to how you would host a gathering in your own home!
There are three Host Team areas to serve - adult, students & children. Consisting of many serving opportunities, our Host Teams go above and beyond to provide exceptional care to all our HF family. Host Team members realize they are part of something bigger than one person and make it their personal mission to connect with others. From the streets to the seats, Host Team members welcome folks to our campuses and online, share a cup of coffee with them, care for their children and students, all with the intent to make Highlands home.
At Highlands, we are “Embracing All People to Experience Life with Jesus.” This is our mission, and everything we do should reflect that.
It’s our desire to create an atmosphere that’s geared towards the first time (or first time in a long time) guest. We are welcoming. We are authentic, transparent and able to relate to others. We listen, we’re sympathetic and we show grace. We want our environments to be safe and clean. We strive to break down barriers and eliminate distractions, communicate effectively, and create a place where individuals and families can find hope and salvation through Jesus Christ and grow in their relationship with Him. We want to create an exceptional experience while having FUN along the way!
