HOPE

Mark Estepp - 11/30/2025

John 1:14

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

John 14:1-4

“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. 2 My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?

3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. 4 You know the way to the place where I am going.”

Psalm 33:20

Hope is a verdict.

Hebrews 6:19a

Hope reframes suffering.

Hope purifies.

Hebrews 10:23

Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.

Hold onto Hope.

Lamentations 3:21-25

22 Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail.

23 They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.

24 I say to myself, “The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for him.”

25 The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him;
